NATIONAL CENTER FOR

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE(NCDV)

Safe word

Problem: Its hard to take legal action against domestic violence when there is reasonable doubt or lack of proof.

Idea: An app for victims of domestic violence that uses voice recognition software. The app automatically starts upon hearing a safe word.

The camera and voice recorder on the device are immediately activated and if the safe word is repeated the local authorities are notified.

The app will run in the background and be completely inconspicuous. When on the app will simply show the user's home screen.

WWF

Devices

Problem: WWF currently work with dated equipment because current tech (like GPS tracking) costs a lot of money.

Insight: People aren't aware of the importance of up-to-date tech. Updating the equipment WWF work with can

dramatically increases the effectiveness and efficiency of protecting endangered animals.

Idea: Use emojis to communicate that the WWF needs help to fund up-to-date equipment, essential for the protection of tigers.

To raise money we will send text messages to as many people as possible with the missing tiger emoji, highlighting to tech-savvy

audiences how important simple system updates can be. The texts will be supported by simple prints with the same message.

RENNIE

Say yes to a #FoodFling

At times we’re all guilty of indulging in foods we know we shouldn’t. We want to position Rennie as a brand that helps people realise that

occasionally it’s OK to ‘Say Yes’ to a food fling, as long as you carry protection.

One Night Stand

A girl wakes up in bed with a half eaten kebab in it’s wrapper/box and regrets it instantly. She discreetly slides out the bed, collects her belongings and leaves.

Cheat day

A wife comes home and catches her husband eating something he shouldn’t, he tries to throw it out the window but it’s closed and splatters all over it.

Supermarket Swingers

A couple see the Wilsons in the supermarket and invite them over for a dinner party implying that things will get hot, saucy, steamy etc… and encourage them to bring protection. The Wilsons turn up expecting some kind of swingers party and are disappointed when they realise they were referring to the food.

HMV

Make queuing fun

Problem: HMV is losing to online giants like Xbox live, Playstation network, Apple store and more. If this continues the Stores will go out of business.

Idea : To motivate consumers to come into HMV stores, on the night of big releases we make Queuing fun. Customers will simply register and compete

against one another to earn there place in the queue. The better you play, the better your position in the queue.

Digital games : While in queue customers will log onto the stores wifi register and compete in online games using their smartphones.

The wifi's leader board will determine your place in the queue.

Live action games : Selected stores located in controlled environments like shopping centers would host live action games. For example laser

tag for COD; a section of the shopping center would be re-skinned and transformed for people to play in with a leader board to determine your place in the queue.
